Lincoln Exposed, Lincoln’s hyper-local music festival, is set for Feb. 4-7 and the lineup is here. Each year acts as a celebration of Lincoln’s scene and an opportunity to see who has come up in roughly the last year.
With 62 bands, the four-night, three-venue festival sprawls this year. Lincoln Exposed happens Feb. 4-7 at Duffy’s, Zoo Bar and The Bourbon.
The lineup includes many of Lincoln’s most-active bands, but also relative newcomers since last year’s festival, like Xion, I Forgot to Love My Father, The Dancing Dead and Imaginary Girlfriend.
Universe Contest will play its first show since Lincoln Calling, capping a Zoo Bar bill that includes Root Marm Chicken Farm Jug Band and Omni Arms. Which brings me to another point of note: compared to October’s Lincoln Calling festival, each venue’s bill thrives on diversity: Jack Hotel is on the same bill as Oketo, Emmett Bower Band and Bogusman play Duffy’s on the same night, Weldon Keys and Halfwit share a bill. Here’s hoping the move will offer bands and fans alike some new exposure.
All access passes are $20. Check out the full lineup below and RSVP here.
