Your Guide to the Nebraska Folk & Roots Festival this weekend

This weekend marks the inaugural Nebraska Folk & Roots Festival in Lincoln.

The two-night festival takes place on three stages around The Railyard in Lincoln’s Haymarket District, including Vega, the Railyard’s courtyard and the Marketplace on the first floor.

From well-known local talent, like McCarthy Trenching and Brad Hoshaw, to national headliners, like Wild Child and David Mayfield Parade, the festival brings more than 30 acts together as broad as traditional jug band music and indie rock.
