UUVVWWZConduitsTalking Mountain and Powerful Science made up one of the strongest local bills all year Friday, Dec. 16 at Knickerbocker's.

The place was packed, the drinks were stiff and the sound was great: All the ingredients you need for a killer show. Powerful Science didn't waste any time getting the crowd going, and served as a strong operner with digital visuals by Bryan Klopping. Talking Mountain's light and fog show was perfectly timed to every note. The Omaha band put on a great set and had everyone busting moves. Conduits' Jenna Morrison captivated me with her vocals on band's last song of the night, "Blood" (which is featured on Hear Nebraska: Vol. 1

UUVVWWZ took the stage with all smiles. During Lincoln Calling, they played just a four-song set, leaving their fans a bit teased and impatiently waiting for more. They played about six at this show, and the crowd loved them.
