Dream of Venus at Reverb Lounge

Friday and Sunday night at Reverb Lounge, Lars and Mal’s Mallory Finch hosted the “Dream of Venus” burlesque and cabaret at Reverb Lounge in Benson. The variety show featured a number of musical acts and performance pieces, each tied together by Finch’s emceeing.

For her part, Finch sang pieces with McCarthy Trenching, Those Far Out Arrows and John Klemmensen and the Party.

For his own part, Marco noted how the “atmosphere of Reverb Lounge … changed instantly the moment Mallory Finch steps to the stage. The lights dim down, the spotlight highlights the performers, and that small, modern room is transformed into something right out of the Roaring ’20’s … a modern twist to the classic cabaret.”
