A bra catapulted its way into the face of Cold War Kids’ lead vocalist, Nathan Willett. Sweaty strands of tangled hair stuck to the face of Crystal Antlers’ bassist and lead vocalist, Jonny Bell. Both Cold War Kids and Crystal Antlers captured the intensity in their music through their performances at Slowdown on Monday.
Crystal Antlers encouraged a head-bobbing trance with their complex bass lines and guitar solos. “Hang Me Up To Dry” turned the audience into popcorn over a hot stove. It was during this song that the bra was thrown. After that moment, the crowd went wild.
