Hebron native Cole Harris embraces many of the qualities of a small-town musician: easy-going, honest, courteous and, if you’re listening closely to his songs, perhaps a little mischievous. He and his 7 Days Sober bandmates perform with a certain sense of pride, but not without a little good-natured fun.
Harris sat down with Hear Nebraska in June, hours before his band opened the southern Nebraska town’s inaugural Good Living Tour concert and right after he performed an original song for the live performance series. He shared his views on his small town roots, how that ethos appears in his lyrics and how it’s all about havin’ a good time.
