The Young Vines are an alternative rock band from Tulsa, OK that began in May of 2015.
With influences like Fleetwood Mac, Band of Horses, and Pixies, the band merges sounds of the American South with 70s and 80s rock in a fashion that leaves you with feelings of melancholy and hope.
With their EP released on April 28th 2017, appearances at SXSW (Tulsa Boom Factory Day Party, KC MidCoast takeover) with the likes of Leon Russell and John Moreland, Red Gorilla Fest, and Deep Ellum Fest to a growing fan base in Texas, plus a year of heavy touring ahead of them, The Young Vines are in for an exciting year.
The band has also been seen opening for Hanson, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Butch Walker, Daddy Porter, and Pop Evil, and many other smaller national artists. The Young Vines were also personally chosen by Hanson to join them, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, X Ambassadors, Kongos, and Mayer Hawthorne to perform at Hanson’s Hop Jam 2016 and 2017 Festivals.
