Sixth-annual Take Cover lineups finalized
In two weeks, Hear Nebraska will feature some of your favorite Nebraska bands covering some of their favorite in-state counterparts in its sixth-annual Take Cover benefit concert.
We have finalized the lineups for both Lincoln and Omaha concerts, which happen Friday, Jan 27 at The Bourbon and Saturday, Jan 28 at The Waiting Room.
All 23 acts are listed below:
In Lincoln: Life Is Cool, Jack Hotel, Salt Creek, The Morbs, Mad Dog and the 20/20’s, Domestica, Dirty Talker, Briner, Better Friend, Andrea Von Kampen and Kellison Acoustic Duo.
In Omaha: See Through Dresses, David Nance, Dominique Morgan, Rothsteen, Jocelyn, Thick Paint, Todd Zack Jr., The Way Out, Bach Mai, Edem Soul Music, Song Syndrome and Mint Wad Willy.
This year, thanks to our sponsors — Ameritas and Medical Solutions, respectively — both concerts are free to attend, and your suggested $10 donation contributes directly to help us continue to promote and support Nebraska musicians.
Additionally, our hosts — HN managing editor Andrew Stellmon in Lincoln, High Up vocalist Christine Fink in Omaha — will be giving away some great raffle prizes from local businesses like Almost Music, Hello Holiday, Omaha Bicycle Co, FUSE Coworking, Cultiva, Left’s Records and more.
