Jan. 21 – Lost Lake, Denver
Jan. 23 – The Flux Capacitor, Colorado Springs
Jan. 24 – Hodi’s Half Note, Fort Collins
You can also see vocalist Cortney Kirby at Hear Nebraska’s annual Take Cover – Lincoln fundraiser on Jan. 30 at The Bourbon. RSVP here.

Even if the release party blowout in November made it feel more than official, Josh Hoyer and The Shadowboxers’ second full-length Living By The Minute is out worldwide today.
The record has been available in Nebraska and at Shadowboxers’ tour stops since November, but today it will be available for online retail and on iTunes. The release comes just two weeks ahead of the band’s 13-stop southern tour. Check the full schedule here.
To celebrate the official release, here’s the digital premiere of “Don’t Turn Away” from Living By The Minute.

Vega hosts a round of heavy metal tonight with Skull Fist, Elm Street, Night Demons and Lincoln act Ezra.
Canadian act Skullfist released its second album, Chasing the Dream, last January. With the Australian Elm Street and Ezra, one of Lincoln’s longest-working metal bands, the show is a heavy-hitter for Vega, which hasn’t hosted many metal shows in its short life.
