The first listen to Fore1gn Body’s new EP arrives with dueling guitars and a dark vision of the world.

The Omaha six-piece recorded this, their second release, with Ben Brodin at ARC Studios.

The explosive electric guitar angst in “Science” indicates some familiarity with mid-discography Cursive, though the larger experience here has more radio rock in its soul. Moreover, singer Braden Rapp emotes with a brit-rock fullness on the chorus, stretching vowels with earnest roundness.
