Denver Dalley is betting on 2013 with "Nineteen Ninety-Nine."
The guitarist of Omaha's Desaparecidos is looking forward to what next year will bring for his solo project Statistics as well as Desa, which added a handful of European concerts just this morning.
"I’m excited about all the things that are happening over the next few months," Dalley says via phone while in New York. "I’m excited to come back to Nebraska and hang out there. Both with this project and Desa, there’s a lot planned and on the horizon, but there’s a lot of mystery, too."
Dalley says the Statistics record out this March, Peninsula, is six or seven years in the making. While it started as a solely solo project, the latter half or so of the album's progress included collaborations. For "Nineteen Ninety-Nine," Dalley called on his bandmate Sean Tillmann of Har Mar Superstar to co-write the verses.
