Cake Eater is an electronic music producer who splits his time between Lincoln and Omaha. His first full-length album, Jangala, is being released by Bad Shoes Records on Aug. 20.

I sat down with Cake Eater (Jordy Bouwens) to ask about the upcoming album. In addition to talking about the concepts, sounds and inspirations, he also shared some of the frustrations that came with making the album.
