HEAR NEBRASKA PRESENTS A VERY INTIMATE FUNDRAISER: Featuring a special dinner by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and musical performance by The Mynabirds.
Sunday, Dec.. 2, 7 p.m., 6066 Maple St.
ONLY 20 TICKETS AVAILABLE | $100 each
"An Evening" gathers a small group of people from the community to enjoy a meal and a musical performance in an extremely intimate setting. By providing eventgoers with a direct, personal connection to some of the state's most talented artists, the event aims to raise money to support Hear Nebraska's mission to "make Nebraska an internationally known cultural destination."
Hear Nebraska's first "An Evening" fundraiser in March 2012 prompted Omaha World-Herald food columnist to say:
"Sometimes things happen in our city that make me feel like I’m somewhere else. Somewhere cooler, more adventurous, probably on the coast. But last night was one of those nights in Omaha that makes me remember that I live in an incredibly cool city."

More about The Mynabirds
Laura Burhenn lent her golden voice to Bright Eyes for the better part of 2011. But since June, she's been touring the country supporting her sophomore Saddle Creek record, Generals.
