We’re happy to have the Virginia-based duo of Laura Wortman and Kagey Parish perform for the first time on the Listening Roon stage. Their music is a blend of Americana and traditional folk, with an Appalachian flavor. I saw them on the LAFTA stage last year and was totally won by their energy, tight harmonies and stunning musicianship. They were finalists in Prairie Home Companion’s harmony competion.
