Owls are generally solitary, but when seen together the group is called a “parliament” as they have long been considered to be of a wise disposition. In Greek mythology, the owl is the symbol for Athena, the goddess of wisdom. So, as we’re gathering artists from all walks of life that aren’t normally grouped together, at the Night Owl Pub, it only seems fitting to call this event “The ARTIST Parliament,” a very smart grouping of artists indeed!

This event is designed for artists, art-lovers, and anyone who may wander into this crazy show to first and foremost be INSPIRED. Inspiration spreading like wildfire through the creatively reckless sharing of passions. Secondly, this event is designed to entertain on a multi-sensory level through every kind of art imaginable. Thirdly, it is meant for all the creatives out there to have a fun, and briliant opportunity to make some money!

We will begin shortly after 5 with a reading. It can be poetry, excerpts of other writings, song lyrics, etc. Following the reading, we’ll have live music and live art demos going at the same time. It may be sculpture, painting, pottery-making, etc. All the while, art will be available for sale, the artists will be available to answer any questions, and hopefully sell you some masterpieces!
