REModeled is a tribute band by and for old-school R.E.M. fans. In 2013-14 they played a series of complete-album shows in Benson, performing every R.E.M. album released on IRS records in its entirety. After this groundbreaking run the band decided to take all the insight and inspiration gleaned from their R.E.M.-immersion and channel it into original material. The result is Excellency, who make their debut at Reverb on Thanksgiving Eve. After that set the band will morph back into REModeled for their first show in 2 years, closing out the night with a marathon set of all their favorite R.E.M. songs, including familiar hits from the band’s 90’s heyday. The setlist is still evolving, so get your song requests in at R.E.M.odeled!
