Thundersandwich
Thundersandwich, a progressive funk-rock act hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska, are proponents of a single ethos, “to have fun and be fun.” The four-piece has developed a following based on its electric live performances and immediate, danceable tunes. Paired with a disparate background in funk, psych, and heavy metal, with a heavy dose of electronics, it is equal parts unpredictable and familiar. At any moment, Thundersandwich is capable of shifting grooves on a dime, from upbeat dance music to the “sort of country music made on Mercury.”

With a sound big enough to fill theaters and a groove tight enough to send packed basements into a gyrating frenzy, the band is known for marathon performances and deep, extended grooves. The band is currently finishing their first LP and dazzling audiences throughout Nebraska.
