loom + Flixx’s Annual White Attire x Gay Pride Party

House of Loom & FLIXX Lounge & Cabaret Show Bar
✦Two venues bring their annual white parties together ✦

Lovely people! This is undoubtedly one of our best parties of the year. On the weekend of Gay PRIDE, our White Attire Party is back and we’re teaming up once again with our neighbor’s to the east, Flixx who also do an annual white party on the weekend of Pride. As such, we’re making both events free so everyone can jump back and forth.

▬▬▬▬▬ Raven Fox Bio ▬▬▬▬▬
Raven Fox’s roots in dance music come from the golden era of NYC. From frequenting the Paradise Garage, getting his first gig at Danceteria at 18, moving onto residencies at Area, Timmy Regisford’s The Shelter, or opening up for Tony Humphries on international tours—Raven’s been in the background of many of NYC’s legendary dance figures & clubs.

He’s also a visual artist who first met Keith Haring in art school, traded mix tapes with him and then went onto become his art assistant for 10 years. Raven even assisted Keith with his Paradise Garage mural.

Needless to say, Raven is a living, breathing figure that will jump out of the pages of America’s dance history books and right into our DJ booth. His sets have always brought the house down, with an emphasis not on the technicality of mixing, but rather soulfully pulling out the best of each of us on the dance floor to make pure magic.

▬▬▬▬▬ About loom ▬▬▬▬▬
The loom dance party series was established in 2006, with the tagline of, “Weaving the Social Fabric Thru Dance.” We’re advocates for creating a multicultural melting pot on our dance floor. A melting pot which encourages diversity & openness where you’ll meet someone new, hear something new, laugh, sweat and leave with a smile.
