The 2017 Light The Night Walk will take place Saturday, October 21, 7 p.m. at Stinson Park at Aksarben Village in Omaha. Friends, families and co-workers form fundraising teams to participate in the walk each fall in nearly 200 communities across North America. Participants walk with lanterns – white for survivors, gold for those walking in memory of a lost loved one and red for supporters – creating a visually stunning evening full of hope and support.

The Nebraska Chapter of LLS serves all of Nebraska and Western Iowa. Its mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
