Standing room was at a premium Friday night at The Sydney. About 200 came through the Benson venue's doors to see Nebraska musicians cover Nebraska songs.
Rebecca Lowry opened the night with a ukulele and Ted Stevens closed it out with one. In between, concertgoers cheered on John Klemmensen's cover of a new Ladyfinger song, "Dark Horse." They watched in wonder as Laura Burhenn looped vocals for her rendition of Bright Eyes' "Poison Oak." And they heard The Great American Desert's Max Holmquist try out some electricity as Landon Hedges joined him for Neva Dinova's "Clouds."
