Sherry Drive: The Biography

Sherry Drive formed by accident in 2011. Father and son Rich & Anu Ratzburg began creating music for their friends and family out of their basement. They had such a positive reaction they decided to create a band. Richards’s military background attracted the likes of current members Rusty Perry, Darin Schmeltzer, and Jeremey Meyer. All of which were serving active duty tours at the time at Offutt Air Force Base.
In late 2012, each band member was honorably discharged from active duty in the United States Army & Air Force, and the band decided to stay together in Bellevue, Nebraska.
In 2013, Sherry Drive was awarded 3rd place at the Gorilla Music Battle of the Bands and was selected to help say goodbye to the Famous Louis Bar in Benson, NE by playing the final show with the American Hitmen (quarterfinalist on national television show: America’s Got Talent)
In 2014, Sherry Drive plans on debuting its first studio album Sherry Drive: One Lane Bridge EP, playing shows around the United States, and possibly acquiring a record deal.
Sherry Drive’s goal is entertaining the people they play for with great music & a fun atmosphere!!
