SAVE THE HERO is a hard rock act from Omaha, NE. The band was originally formed as Cold Steel in 2005. The members now include: Alex DiBaise-Lead Vocals/Rhythm guitar, Matt DiBaise-Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals, Gage McClain-Drums, Garret Loring-Bass/Backing Vocals. After the almost 8 years of performing together the band has evolved and the members felt it was time for a change. The previous name misrepresented what their music has grown into.

Under the previous title the band released 5 CDs: “And It Begins”, “Cold Steel”, “See You Again”, “First Five”, “The Odds are Against Us”. With over 300+ live shows Cold Steel shared the stage with national acts such as: Heart, JackyL, Skid Row, Slaughter, Evans Blue, Black Stone Cherry, Cavo, Bobaflex, the Nigel Dupree Band, and more.

Moving forward with their new endeavor SAVE THE HERO is finishing up on a new album to be released in 2014. Until then they will continue to play shows across the Midwest to play music to the masses. Thank you for continuing to support!
