Biography

Brittany Young, a published and award-winning poet, is the Founder/CEO of Brittany Young Enterprises, a media, entertainment, and performing arts company focused on empowerment. She is currently a teaching artist/performer for Louder Than a Bomb, Writers on Loan, Poetry Out Loud, Artists in Schools/Communities program, and the Nebraska Touring Program.

She is also co-founder of The Start Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that fosters entrepreneurship and talent development to underserved populations in urban communities. She lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband Julian and daughter Genesis.
