This talented and entertaining 7-piece group is comprised of an extremely tight rhythm section and a screaming horn section that features the premier saxophone soloist in the area. The band’s singing talents are exceptional too, with lush 3 & 4-part vocal harmonies to back one of the midwest’s most energetic and entertaining male lead singers. Put them all together, and you’ve got a musical
experience that grooves like no other.

Soul Dawg’s musical repertoire draws heavily on Top 10/soul/funk/R&B music from the 60s/70s/80s, including the songs of Earth, Wind, & Fire, Ohio Players, the Commodores, Kool & the Gang,
KC & The Sunshine Band, and Stevie Wonder, to name a few. Soul Dawg also has a healthy selection of Top 40 hits and always tries to tailor their shows to the crowd’s demographic. Anything to keep the party going and the dancers moving!
