Briner: Cousins Zach McDonald and Jeff Gustafson always wanted to play music together but never lived close enough to each other to make it happen when they were growing up. When Zach moved to Nebraska in 2007, they immediately started playing together. Sarah Bailey and Clay Nedrig joined them in early 2014 and Briner was born. They have been playing regularly around Omaha, Lincoln and Grand Island since early 2015. Briner plays original, energetic rock music that has influences rooted in 90’s indie/alternative rock and grunge. Their songs exhibit wide dynamic range with frequent time and tempo changes. Quieter, melodic lines build with intensity or burst into loud, fuzzed-out riffs and back again, creating an enthralling live set.

Shaun Sparks serves as the lead singer of The Hangin’ Cowboys out of Lincoln, NE. The Hangin’ Cowboys are a rocking outlaw country band. He also plays guitar and co-writes songs for a The Allendales.
