I think it’s time we all come together and talk about the state of our DIY, punk, “whatever you want to call it” community.

This forum will provide a safe space for people to discuss what they like and don’t like about the current scene, and ultimately what type of community we would like to cultivate in the future.

The meeting will begin with setting ground rules for discussion to make sure that all feel welcome to express their viewpoints.

This forum is open to anyone that is a part of the DIY community or would like to be involved, as we should all be more cognicent of how we can be more diverse and inclusive in the future. If you attend shows, would like to attend shows, book shows, would like to book shows, are an artist, an organizer, are a community activist, or are just a general human interested in community, YOU ARE WELCOME.

This may be the first of a series of discussions, but that is all up to what happens at this meeting and what the community decides!
