Solo project and outlet by Chris Atkins.
Biography
I moved to Nebraska when I was in 4th grade. When I was 13 I started playing music and when I was 14 I started playing live in bands and solo. I was in Your Face/Akita-Ken, The Spaghetti Bears, Parachutes, Cymbal Rush, and In Love. I also did a solo project called Chris the Whale, where I played music on the street for around two and a half years for money. I took a couple of years away from music after that and slowly started playing around again.I released a lot of albums as Chris the Whale, which are all available at www.memorymines.bandcamp.com.
I released my first compilation of songs for Memory Mines on April 22, 2012. The album is called, "Haha, LOL". It has 13 tracks and is available for FREE download at www.memorymines.bandcamp.com.
I released my second compilation of songs on March 1st, 2013 at The Slowdown. The album is called, "ROCK N ROFL". It has 12 tracks and is available for FREE download at www.memorymines.bandcamp.com.
I released a live/instrumental album on July 10th, 2013 called "Extra Lives and Instrumentals". It has 17 tracks and is available for FREE download at www.memorymines.bandcamp.com.
I released my third compilation of songs for Memory Mines on September 30, 2014. The album is called, "Time Hurts With Time". It has 10 tracks and is available for FREE download at www.memorymines.bandcamp.com.
I have finished recording my fourth album. It is a full band album unlike the last two acoustic releases. It is called, "Warm Fuzzies" and has 11 tracks. It will be available hopefully in November of 2014.
Thank you to anyone that supports my music. It's simple, when I don't make music I am unhappy. I have to do it. So, I figure I might as well record it and share it with people for free. The support is all extra and all appreciated. Thank you.
