Biography

BLUE ROSA is an experimental rock band in Omaha Nebraska. Tom Barrett & Rene Gosch have written, performed and recorded music together for over a decade now. After settling down from the Northwest Tom & Rene have again put a new music project together called “BLUE ROSA". We have a lot of cool synthesized, dirty, toned songs that tend to be on the darker side of life. Being heavily influenced by Pink Floyd, Portishead, PJ Harvey,Patti Smith, Sonic Youth, Nick Cave, Sigur Ros and The Cure, you can tell how we developed our sound over the years. Adding Chad Lewis and Christian Leader into the mix beefed up the rhythm section and added more atmospheric landscape’s to each song. Christina Allred (cello) has also joined in with performing and recording with BLUE ROSA . All I can say is if you like tripped out sounds and some good old dirty rock with an amazing female vocalist (not a mousy singer) then check us out..
