Omaha rocks. Plain and simple. There's no getting around it. It has a more than healthy endowment of high-quality rock from all fields and genres, with lots of national attention.
One such band — the anthem-rocking Emphatic — has been rising to national fame, their eyes always on a national audience.
"When it comes down to it, I love songs with huge choruses and I don't think there's anything wrong with that," says Emphatic lead guitarist Justin McCain in an article on Noisecreep. "Growing up, my parents listened to hard rock and Bon Jovi and AC/DC were huge in my home. That's had a huge effect on the way I write music."
Emphatic's sound is certainly that of the classics taken to their extremes, and now the band is debuting a new music video for its new single, "Bounce," from the upcoming debut album, Damage, on Atlantic Record. Check it out here.
