Johnny Bliss, age 23 (born March 8, 1990 as Zakk Wright) is an up and coming hip hop all-star. With his many styles, and vulgar but humorous bars, he twists something up new in this game, Originality. Although he has many idols in music, he clearly states that he doesn’t “cop” anybody’s “swag” or try to do what they do. Because let’s be real.. We dont need any more regurgitated artists than there already is. As a young entrepreneur, he started the record label “Midwest Connexx”, and released his first mixtape called “Publissity” February 15th ,and that got the buzz started and has since then signed these kats. Bonez, Kommotion, AV, Hinesight, and singer Eric Fawl to the crew, and is rapidly expanding. With many shows, house party’s, mixtapes, and Music videos, this kid is becoming more and more unstoppable. While residing in the middle of the map aka Lincoln NE, might seem like a place with nothing but cattle and corn, Johnny Bliss and crew tear up the downtown scene on the regular. With flyers and concert promotion being passed out by our Bliss Street Team daily, it’s only a matter of time before they take this world wide. The newest mixtape available Aug 16th, “Reckless” is nothing short of immaculate. Featuring such artists as Latin Threat, Marty McFly, Hinesight, AV, Jalal, Yung Steez, and 2Money. Once “Reckless” was finished, he teamed up with Yung Steez and Benjamin Child to form Young Spirit Crew, an intellectual, underground hip hop group, with tons more flavor than Baskin Robins…so it your ready for whitty lines, catchy hooks and bangin beats, you’re surely guaranteed for an experience.
