Stir Cove is brewing up another sunny season of shows on the banks of the Missouri, outside Harrah's Casino. The concert series announced the majority of its summer 2012 lineup this evening, and plans to unveil about 10 more bookings soon.
Along with The Shins, that "life-changing" band, who had already been scheduled for May 31, a few highlights include Buddy Guy's double billing with Jonny Lang, The Avett Brothers' second Nebraska show of the year — following the April 12 concert at Lincoln's Pershing Center — and Omaha's own 311, who had been previously announced and will remind concertgoers that amber is most definitely the color of their energy.
