You have to wonder how long it took The Machete Archive's Saber Blazek to learn the bassline for Icky Blossoms' latest song release "Perfect Vision." Maybe 2.4 seconds?

The two-chord, slow-sway dance cut from the Omaha band's forthcoming debut — out July 17 on Saddle Creek Records — oozes out of headphones and speakers. Its refrain of oscillating vocals is like a lazy afternoon, drug-influenced bicycle ride. At the end, we're left wondering, "Is it raining, is it snowing? Am I coming, am I going?"
