After a spring of build-up and national press, it’s been a banner two weeks for Saddle Creek Records. Two of Omaha’s most notable bands, Icky Blossoms and Twinsmith, released step-forward sophomore albums. And the label’s Philadelphia signee, Hop Along, has garnered all manner of national praise for its vibrant new LP, Painted Shut.
