Planet Booty emerged onto the West Coast music scene in 2009 in the form of an endorphin-fueled dance party machine. Ever since, their singular obsession with making asses shake has led the band to embrace styles ranging from classic Miami Bass, Talking Heads, and The JB’s, to the modern beats of Major Lazer, Chromeo, and Daft Punk.

With a lush array of live instruments coupled with electronic loops, infectious funk hooks, and a damn sexy sense of style, Planet Booty leaves all audience members sweat-soaked, electrified, and frantically trying to explain to their friends why this band with the ridiculous name is really really worth checking out.

In between live performances the group has kept up a steady stream of self-produced, freely available online content. With their 2009 full length album “Planet Booty”, their 2012 EP “Success”, five music videos and dozens of overly ambitious promotional video shorts, they have been converting dedicated Booty followers in the Bay Area, along the west coast, and beyond.
