A new song, "Wait For You" was a buzzing, emotive start to Omaha band Little Brazil's set at Friday's Hear Nebraska launch party at The Sydney.

Little Brazil is one of those bands I've heard great things about for so long, but had never seen live. But from the first moments talking with some of the guys, it's clear they're good friends — the kind that kid and bitch and push each other's buttons. The kind that can tour endlessly and put up with each other's shit and sickness, and survive a recording process. That perseverance breeds the tightness that comes through in their live set.

They ended an excellent night at Benson's The Sydney to celebrate the launch of HearNebraska.org on Feb. 4, 2011. The show featured Ideal Cleaners and The Fucking Party.
