On Sunday, Oct. 9, Duffy’s played host to a small crowd focused intently on the sounds of Portland band Archeology and local folk favorite Smith’s Cloud. Yes, I (South of Lincoln) opened the show. No, I didn’t take any pictures of myself (believe me, this narcissist thought about it and it didn’t seem possible). It was my first show back at Duffy’s since relocating to Omaha and it was a quiet, respectful and intimate welcome. It was good to be back in my hometown. Here are some pictures from the show.
