Inspired by the old Hootenannies at the 49’r, an infectious documentary on PBS about Pete Seeger, and a great Sunday Roadhouse show recently with the Weary Boys, Lori Tatreau will be starting a new tradition in Omaha at the Waiting Room on Sunday December 18th. Join us as a number of local musicians get together to share original and traditional acoustic tunes. Enjoy great food while watching unique combinations of players try out new ideas and play old favorites. Bring the kids along early for a music workshop. Listen to true stories between sets, or tell one of your own. All proceeds will benefit a different food based non-profit each month. December’s group is No More Empty Pots. Bring an instrument and come on down! Slated to perform are Prairie Gators, Kate Williams & Lincoln Dickison, Matt Cox, Ted Stevens, Great American Desert, Lee Meyerpeter, and more!!!
