Raise the Roots hosts quarterly events to nurture conversation and build community around sustainability initiatives in the Omaha area. While celebrating with live music, local bites and multi-media experiences, Raise the Roots audiences learn about local food, clean energy, and other sustainable initiatives in our region. Guests enjoy dining, dancing, live presentations and mingling with other families, while supporting a variety of local efforts in their community.

The April 26th event is friendly for all ages, featuring onsite dining options from LocalMotive Food Truck, hands-on kids’ activities, guest speakers, and live music from the Prairie Gators. A number of community organizations will host information booths, including the Great Plains EcoTourism Coalition, Nebraska Forest Service (ReTree), The Big Garden, Pranam Yoga Shala, Center for Rural Affairs and others.
