We did this event last year and it was a riot!!! So we are doing it again bigger and better!!! 8-Bit was the golden age of video games. Systems like NES and Sega Master System were revolutionizing home gaming and taking the world by storm and characters like Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, and Megaman are still very popular today!! And the music from these old systems have become sampled and rearranged, chopped, and mixed to create music like chiptunes and other forms of EDM! Even old systems like the Gameboy have been modded and turned into instruments to create said music!! Well the Omaha Sexy Nerd Society is celebrating this culture with a nerdcentric, video game filled, midi pulsing night of fun!! Here is what to expect….

– $10 cover for those in not in cosplay or themed attire. $5 cover for those who are! This includes clothes with 8-bit or oldschool video game characters or cosplaying as said characters or as 8-bit versions of yourselves, etc.
– Cosplay contest!! Come dressed as your favorite 8-Bit character or as an 8-bit version of yourself or a celebrity. Winners will receive a $20 bar tab and a free badge to CONgregation 2015: Genesis!!
– Performances from The SuperBytes, Nerdlesque from the Hot Tail Honeys, and dj Mike Ekoh!!
– 8-Bit Video Game Stations
– Lots of fun party lights!!!
– Food available from food truck (vendor TBA)
