The Black Market | The Public is a downtown clothing exchange and shoe store that serves as a music venue, art gallery and social gathering space during the First Friday art walk held in Lincoln each month. In addition to collaborating with local artists and musicians on First Fridays, the store also regularly teams up with local brewing companies and restaurants to provide an evening of full-sensory immersion in Nebraskan creative fare.
The store has also held in-store appearances with touring bands, hosted DJs during regular store hours and fashion shows, and has served as a set for both music videos and short films.
