Each year young singers ages 20-30 participate in the Metropolitan Opera Auditions. This organization facilitates these auditions in Nebraska. Saturday morning December 6th, potential opera stars will sing in Kimball Recital Hall in front of nationally recognized judges. The young singers (all under the age of 30) compete for the chance to sing at the Upper Midwest Regional Auditions. The winners at the regional level then compete in New York. Winners of the National Award are likely to become sensations overnight. Will one of Nebraska’s talented singers become a sensation? Join us Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00am in Kimball Recital Hall to find out. This event is free and open to the public. Audience members are welcome to come and go between singers.
