Togetherness defined the concert, and Filter lead singer Richard Patrick demonstrated the feeling when he leapt into the arms of united audience members to do some casual crowd surfing.
The lineup, also including Fight or Flight, We As Humans and Nothing More, enjoyed Vega’s second-show acoustics after A Ferocious Jungle Cat and The Wondermonds played a soft opening on Sunday. The venue’s industrial architecture mixed with modern design offered a sophisticated and intimate experience between bands and concertgoers.
Tonight, the venue continues its first week with The Envy Corps, Twinsmith and Tie These Hands at 9 p.m. On Thursday, Funk Trek headlines a show with AZP and Foam Form.
