“Drunken Birds” by Cursive | Music Video

Maybe your art is antiquated. Folks just don't come to see you dance with your white face paint and top hat on like they used to. Well, now try playing opposite your twin, who might also be the other side of your split personality. Oh, and Cursive is the bill, too, so you'd better toss in the cane now.

That's the cursory takeaway from the Omaha group's newest video for "Drunken Birds," a song off their album I Am Gemini. As the band members make their way over the Atlantic on the way to a European tour, Cursive and their video's main character reminds us all that a smile doesn't get you everywhere. Wings do.

Tony Bonacci directed the video, which follows "This House Alive," also from I Am Gemini.
