The Symbols
The Symbols’ trademark sound brand “spiritual porn rock” tells you what they’re all about. This music is good for your soul – and your body. The Symbols’ music invites funk, blues, R&B, and rock into radio-sounding popular music. With star-crossed lead guitar playing and vocals that seem meant to be heard together, the love, energy and sound of this new female-fronted power trio is infecting people’s hearts domestically and abroad.

The Symbols have been hard at work as of late. They just finished recording a (first) full length album with the producer of Pat Benitar, Tower of Power, Cher, and Kix, and are proud to release it to you in 2015.

Since the band’s formation in July of 2010, the Symbols have played over 500 theater, festival, and club shows together in Colorado, California, Nevada, Wyoming, Kansas, and Oklahoma, recorded three five-song EPs of original tunes, performed and are spun on a number of grassroots FM, XM, and internet Indie radio stations, been hired to play with their greatest idol Phil Brown, headlined Rides For Realities (biker rally to end child abuse), and have organized a total of 5 major charity event concerts at large theaters in Northern Colorado including The Lincoln Center of Ft. Collins and The Rialto Theater of Loveland, Colorado. The Symbols are in the press, with receptions from The Loveland Reporter Herald, The Wyoming Tribune, Scene Magazine, Marquee Magazine, Rooster, Bandwagon, Colorado Music Buzz, and The Music Initiative, to name a few. The band has released four music videos, “Kristin” (2011), “Shake That Butt” (2011), and “Good For Me” (2012), “Sparkle” (2013), with a fourth video, “Be Here Now” (2012) created and released by a fan and friend of The Symbols who worked with public access television. In 2013, Mer Sal and Jasco filmed a zombie music video for their song “Sparkle” which can be viewed on YouTube at www.youtube.com/thesymbolsband.
