Richard Johnson, better known by his stage name Rich The Factor, is an underground rap artist from Kansas City, Missouri. He is the founder of Major Factor Records. He has collaborated with many artists from Kansas City and the Bay Area such as Boy Big, Cellski, Felix Mitchell, J-Diggs, Messy Marv, Rappin Twan and Rushin Roolet, just to name a few.
His debut EP, “Gettin A Grip” was released in 1995 and was distributed by San Francisco-based hip hop label Get Low Recordz. All songs on the EP were produced by JT The Bigga Figga. In addition to his impressive catalogue of independent albums and mixtapes, he has released numerous raw footage DVD’s such as the “Bucks Over Fame” series.
