Josh Hoyer is a soul singer and a local legend. Recently a reviewer said this of Josh’s work: “If James Brown and Otis Redding had a love child, it would be Josh Hoyer.” Lyrically Josh’s music is as gritty and powerful as his vocals, and it’s a bit of a rare treat to experience these songs in their more raw, solo version, with only Josh, his keys, and the soulful, funked up truth.

Kicking off the show we’ve got Sam Stacy, a young John Mayer/Jack Johnson-style, local singer/songwriter, and pretty incredible guitar player! The Night Owl Pub’s slogan may be “The Best Kept Secret in Lincoln” but that title might belong to Sam Stacy now! If you haven’t seen him play before, you’re in for a real treat, as his talent won’t be secret for too much longer!
