Hear Lincoln 2015: A Ferocious Jungle Cat

Summer is fleeting. So don’t let whatever way you spend your workday — sitting in front of a screen, standing over a table, maybe walking some sort of beat — shape this year’s memories.

For 10 weeks this summer, you have an easy reason to close your laptop, to step outside, to find a new rhythm. Because each Friday over the lunch hour, the fourth-annual Hear Lincoln concert series features a new, contemporary Lincoln band performing outside, for free, right in the heart of downtown. Sponsored by the Cooper Foundation and presented by the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, the series features some of the city’s top acts — ranging from funk to soul, folk to punk and curated by Hear Nebraska.

So get outside, bring your friends and family, and get the most out of this summer.
