Christopher the Conquered is a songwriter, recording artist, singer, performer, and pianist whose solo sets have impacted thousands of people with their intimacy and grace.

Christopher the Conquered’s residency at the Slowdown comes on the heels of an extensive North American tour playing with the likes of Martin Sexton and Leon Russell and immediately before departing for nearly 2 months of touring Germany and Italy.

Christopher has personally curated the shows for this residency, performing a different type of show each night with a handpicked lineup of talented supporting artists he admires and enjoys. This residency is sure to be memorable; the sort of show you’ll recall in stories to your friends and children for years to come.

Christopher has developed a loyal and enthusiastic and loyal following in Nebraska that has steadily grown with each show he has played. The Lincoln Journal-Star noted his as the best performance at Lincoln Calling Fest 2012. This residency will only bolster that reputation further.
