CHAD VALLEY
After taking his bedroom recordings to the next level with a full band in Jonquil, Oxford-based Hugo Manuel went back to recording as a solo artist under the name Chad Valley. Jonquil signed to Dovecote Records in the States and, around the same time, Manuel leaked a handful of dreamy, Ibiza and R&B-inspired electro-pop demos to the Web. A flock of sites (including Vice, Pitchfork, and Guardian) featured Chad Valley’s “Up and Down” and “Acker Bilk” in the summer of 2010. Manuel continued to play with Jonquil, and debuted his self-titled EP later that year. In 2011, Chad Valley released Equatorial Ultravox, and then branched out with 2012’s Young Hunger, which featured a long list of indie A-list collaborators including Twin Shadow, Glasser, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and Active Child.

COMPUTER MAGIC
An enigma of individuality, Danielle “Danz” Johnson is her own sound. Fueled by an obsession with music stemming back to growing up in the Catskills of New York, music has always been her mainstay. Danz joined the NYC music scene at 18 as a DJ and Promoter whilst going to Hunter College. After a few years in NYC, Danz took a hiatus to Tampa, Florida where she began teaching herself to create music. The result was Computer Magic – a solid mesh of space-like dance beats and personable lyrics. Danz returned to New York and started performing live. Computer Magic to date has released 3 full length records in Japan on P-vine & Tugboat Records, the last of which “Mindstate” making it to #1 on the Japanese Electronic music charts. She has released 6 EPs worldwide, and will be releasing her US debut full length record later this year produced by Claudius Mittendorfer.
