Blackhawk & Outlaws Double Headliner Show at Lancaster Event Center

The 2016 Super Fair is proud to present not one, but two multi-platinum selling artists for their double headliner show on Thursday, August 11, featuring The Outlaws and Blackhawk with special guest SwitchBak in Pavilion 4 of the Lancaster Event Center on 84th and Havelock in Lincoln.

The concert, with station KX96.9 as the presenting sponsor, will be held for the second straight year in Pavilion 4 where music lovers enjoyed the comfortable, relaxed environment and great acoustics for the Easton Corbin concert last year.

Blackhawk exploded into the country music landscape in 1993 with their self-titled album and top 10 hit single “Goodbye Says It All.” They had multiple other hit singles including, “Every Once In A While,” “I Sure Can Smell The Rain” and “That’s Just About Right”. This propelled their album to platinum status. The group’s most recent album, Greatest Hits and More, tells the story of the group that’s known as one the most successful country music groups from the 1990’s.

The Outlaws’ first three albums The Outlaws, Lady In Waiting and Hurry Sundown – featuring such rock radio favorites as “There Goes Another Love Song”, “Green Grass & High Tides”, “Knoxville Girl” and “Freeborn Man” – became worldwide gold and platinum landmarks of the Southern Rock era.

This year the Lancaster County Super Fair is excited to showcase over two hours of classic country and rock hits at a price of $20 for either reserved seating or general admission pit. Fairgoers are invited to come out early when event doors open at 5:30 pm to enjoy home-style BBQ, fair favorite foods & special beverages before the three bands perform.
